FAQ

Questions answered.

What ages do you teach?

I specialize in teaching children ages 4-12. This is a wonderful window when musical foundations are most naturally absorbed through play and exploration.

How long are the lessons?

Lessons are 30 minutes for beginners (ages 4-6) and 45 minutes for intermediate students (ages 7+). This duration keeps young learners engaged without fatigue.

Do you follow a curriculum?

Yes! I prepare students for Trinity College London and ABRSM examinations, but always with joy as the priority. Exams are optional milestones, not the main goal.

What if my child is a beginner?

Perfect! Complete beginners are my specialty. We start with games, songs, and exploration before formal notation.

How do I know if my child is ready?

If they show curiosity about music, can sit still for 10-15 minutes, and follow simple instructions, they're ready!

Do you offer online lessons?

Yes, I offer both in-studio and online lessons via Zoom. Online works surprisingly well for young learners.
